This comic is hand-drawn. It’s 22 multiple-panel, color pages (plus a cover). If all goes well, there will be a second book that wraps up the story.
The Chrysalis Inn is a bit different from other TG Premium content we have put up for sale. It involves crossdressing. A guy dresses (and passes very nicely) as a girl. Book One tells the story of his first night out en femme.
In other words, this story is more realistic than others we have posted. There’s no magic or science fiction involved in terms of the transformation. And yet… one could say there is a SLIGHT magical subtext. Our hero, Daniel, is staying at a motel called “The Chrysalis Inn.” Could this place somehow allow Daniel to find the strength, the courage to explore a side of him that has heretofore been repressed? Or is it simply because he’s away from home, on vacation, and finally has the freedom to explore his feminine side?
Some of you may be familiar with Bex’s work. He’s an Italian artist who has been making hardcore TG comics for quite some time. A few have been sold at Lustomic and Amazing Transformation Comics, among other places. You can check out Bex’s website for more info about his comics (and more samples of his art).
Basically a lot of what Bex has produced is rather graphic, but The Chrysalis Inn is a bit different. We rated it TGC-M but it could almost have been rated TGC-R. There’s sexual content in these pages, for sure, but most of it happens “off-panel” in a rather tasteful way. I think the results are pleasing, exciting and erotic.
Because this is intended to be a series, the story is not quite complete. We’re not completely sure whether or not there will be a Book Two, and if there is, when it will appear. So please understand that if you buy Book One (of which all 22 pages are available as of today), that’s all there is… at least for the moment. But I do want to say that Book One works well as a standalone. No worries there!
There’s also a Chrysalis Inn Preview Page, that pretty much repeats everything I have said here (along with a bit more info). And if you want to know more about the plot before you buy, there’s also a second preview page(that includes some spoilers) for your perusal.
The comic is for sale using either of our credit card processors, OrbitalPay and Verotel. It’s $6.95 for you either way, so it’s totally up to you as to which you’d like to use. Also, as I like to remind people, we have added a shopping cart to the website, so you can buy more than one Premium item at the same time. So please consider buying The Chrysalis Inn and some other Premium items at the same time! Go on, don’t be shy!
I believe we will post the comic on Lulu.com as well (for those who like using Paypal), but that won’t happen for a couple of weeks. Stay tuned for more information about that.
Thanks for listening! I hope you’ll consider buying The Chrysalis Inn and supporting TGComics.com. I’m happy to be adding another artist to the roster who explores a different part of the TG world. I hope you will think this is a welcome addition to the website.
